Due to many moving machine parts and the associated danger of being pulled in or crushed, special focus had to be placed on user safety

CE marking and declaration of conformity for a 2D laser cutting system
easyCE supports the entire conformity assessment procedure for a 2D laser cutting system with automatic pallet changer. The entire safety concept, including the 2-beam light barrier, was coordinated for the laser cutting system, the performance level was determined, a product analysis was created and a risk assessment was carried out in accordance with EN ISO 12100. Special requirements result for the mechanical components of the traverse for the laser cutting head, but especially for the kinematics of the pallet changer and laser cutting head. The cutting process (laser class 4) inside the cabin is safely shielded from the operator by laser protection screens, additional safety devices and the complete enclosure: laser class 1 outside the machine.

CE marking and conformity assessment of a pipe drawing machine including risk assessment within the framework of occupational safety and preparation of an operating instruction
easyCE supports the entire conformity assessment process, including risk assessment, right up to the declaration of conformity ready for signature. easyCE also supports various tasks within the scope of occupational safety. In addition to the regular requirements for machines, particular attention was paid to user safety due to the high risk of crushing and cutting of upper limbs. Occupational safety was of great importance due to the constant handling of drawing oil.

CE marking for control cabinets
easyCE supports the entire conformity assessment procedure, including risk assessment, up to the declaration of conformity for control cabinets ready for signature. In particular, the requirements of the Machinery, EMC and Low Voltage Directive with regard to DIN EN 60204-1: 2019-06 and DIN EN IEC 61439-1: 2021-10 had to be observed. A checklist was also created for the selection of components that must meet special requirements (supplier selection).

CE marking for a roadheader underground mining
easyCE supports the entire conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for a roadheader for underground operations in coal mining. In the conformity assessment procedure, various safety devices (including safety valves, lowering protection, control circuits, other hydraulic components) were assessed and documented in accordance with the normative specifications. When selecting the material, requirements for maximum stability and maximum torsional rigidity had to be taken into account. The risk assessment was carried out in accordance with EN ISO 12100. Another machine in ATEX design was implemented by easyCE as a follow-up project.

Conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for conveyor stacker systems with remote control
easyCE successfully supports CE marking up to the ready-to-sign Declaration of Conformity for a mobile conveyor stacker system with remote control functionality. The integration of dual operation modes (local and remote control) presented special requirements for safety design according to EN ISO 13849-1. Through comprehensive risk assessment following EN ISO 12100, all potential hazard points were identified and appropriate protective measures implemented, particularly for emergency stop functionality according to EN 60204-1 in both operating modes.

Particular attention was given to the risk situation in the event of maintenance or troubleshooting.

easyCE supports the entire conformity assessment procedure including risk assessment according to ATEX up to the declaration of conformity ready for signature for conveyor belt scrapers in universal use. During the "assembly" and "maintenance" life cycle phases, special injury risks from heavy components had to be taken into account
CE marking for granulator with nitrogen and vacuum connection for use in pharmaceutical production
easyCE supports the CE marking of old machines on which significant changes have been made. The machine is a granulator with a nitrogen and vacuum connection for use in pharmaceutical production. In addition to conformity with the harmonized standards of the Machinery Directive, Annex I of the Machinery Directive must also be observed due to the area of application in the pharmaceutical industry. This results in increased requirements for materials and surface finishes. The structural design of the machine must also meet special requirements, for example in relation to the ability to dismantle, storage design, lubrication and the avoidance of dead spaces.

CE marking for a test bench for pressure testing of low-pressure units in the pharmaceutical sector
The first challenge was to decide whether the Pressure Equipment Directive needed to be applied to this machine. With easyCE's guidance, the manufacturer was able to carry out some measurements on the machine, which ultimately meant that the Pressure Equipment Directive did not need to be applied. Although this made the process easier, a thorough risk assessment and the development of appropriate safety measures were still required within the usual framework. In particular, easyCE was able to verify and ensure the high hygiene standards of the pharmaceutical industry by accurately comparing them with EN ISO 14159, so that the CE conformity assessment process could be successfully completed and a CE marking for the test bench could be created.

CE marking for a test station for filter cassettes
The product assessed was a coagulation robot that treats raw meat samples with a coagulation needle to simulate the smoke emissions during a medical treatment. This serves the purpose of testing filter cassettes for exhaust air systems. In addition to the typical requirements for machines, special attention had to be paid to hygiene in the conformity assessment of this product, as handling raw meat can quickly lead to health risks. Thanks to easyCE's many years of experience and expertise and its close orientation to En ISO 14159, this project was brought to a successful conclusion.

Conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for fire resistance test equipment in the automotive industry
easyCE successfully supports CE marking up to the ready-to-sign Declaration of Conformity for a specialized test stand for conducting fire resistance tests according to ECE R100. The particular challenge was in the ignition source analysis and implementation of a sophisticated safety concept according to EN ISO 13849-1, which ensures a high performance level despite deliberate fire generation. Security is provided through redundant safety systems with personnel clearance detection and lockable access points according to EN ISO 14119, enabling reliable operation even under extreme test conditions.

The CE marking for the mobile incline conveyor, a device for the efficient transport of bulk materials, was an exciting challenge that we at easyCE mastered with competence and care. Support with the CE marking of horn eyeglass frames (Class I medical device) and sunglasses
In a challenging project, easyCE ensured the conformity of horn eyeglass frames as accessories to medical devices under the Medical Devices Regulation 2017/745 and of sunglasses under the PPE Regulation 2016/425. We extended the technical documentation to ensure that all required documents such as the risk management plan and the post-market surveillance plan are included.
Our team worked closely with the client to ensure all requirements of the Medical Device Regulation were met, including the general safety and performance requirements set out in Annex I. This included a thorough review of the design and manufacturing requirements to ensure the products met the highest standards.
CE marking for a lubricant according to the Medical Devices Directive
With the help of the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, easyCE also finds the relevant requirements in the case of ambiguous definitions, informs the customer of their obligations and creates the necessary CE documentation around the existing quality management system. A risk management plan, checklists for technical documents, for hazard identification and safety-relevant features, for general safety and performance requirements according to MDR Annex I and a declaration of conformity are created product-specifically in German and English.
CE marking for drug tests
In this specific case of a multi-drug test, the decision on CE marking requirements depends on the user group. While a drug test for law enforcement purposes is exempt, a drug test for medical purposes falls under the new Medical Device Regulations (EU) 2017/745 and In Vitro Diagnostics (EU) 2017/746 as a Class C product. In this project, easyCE adapts the schedule to the customer in a particularly flexible manner, as unexpected problems arise during production.
