AS PRODUCER OF ENERGY SYSTEMS

AS OPERATOR OF ENERGY SYSTEMS

Manufacturers always have the responsibility of CE marking

Regardless of whether in an industrial or private environment, operators may only use CE-marked energy systems. In a private environment, systems are usually supplied from a single source, which means that the manufacturer is responsible for the CE marking. In an industrial environment, the manufacturer is also responsible for ensuring that only compliant and CE-marked products are placed on the market. If a manufacturer only supplies individual components for an overall system, only these must be CE-marked. The entire system must be marked by the integrator or the operator as general contractor (GU). In this case, we advise manufacturers to coordinate expectations regarding responsibility for CE marking with the system operator at an early stage and to provide all necessary documentation so that a suitable solution for assessing conformity can be found.

The provision of complete documentation is particularly necessary in order to comprehensively illustrate the evidence of plant safety, measurement concepts and various protection concepts such as fire protection concepts.

The experts at easyCE are available to answer any questions you may have regarding conformity and will be happy to assist you.

CE marking and declaration of conformity of air conditioning systems in industrial plants and cooling plants, as well as preparation of the operating instructions.

Conformity assessment and CE marking of air conditioning systems in industrial plants and cooling plants, as well as preparation of operating instructions

easyCE supports the entire conformity assessment procedure including risk assessment according to ATEX up to the declaration of conformity ready for signature for air conditioning systems in industrial plants and air conditioning systems for recooling. Particular attention was given to the creation of a basic operating manual as a template for adaptation to special product variants. Due to the risk of legionella formation, the maintenance procedures had to be given special consideration in the risk assessment.

Considers, among others: 98/37/EG, 97/23/EG, 2006/95/EG, 2004/108/EG, 2014/68/EG, DIN EN 14705:2005-10, DIN EN 13741:2003-5, VDI 2047-1:1992-07

CE marking and declaration of conformity of machines for generating energy by recovering heat from industrial plants.

Conformity assessment and CE marking of machines for generating energy by recovering heat from industrial plants

easyCE supports the entire conformity assessment procedure including risk assessment according to ATEX for a combined heat and power plant-type machine. Since high pressures and temperatures arise when using the machine, special focus was placed on the assessment of the technical framework conditions under the Pressure Equipment Directive.

Procedure instruction and risk assessment for maintenance work on wind turbines.

Procedure and risk assessment for maintenance work on wind turbines

easyCE supports the development of the procedural instructions and risk assessment for maintenance work when changing the gearbox oil in wind turbines. The high-altitude workplace meant that special challenges had to be taken into account during maintenance. For example, special focus had to be placed on the fall protection of the personnel and the proper use of the ground equipment when filling the oil.

CE marking and declaration of conformity for industrial battery storage systems for capacity control of grid utilization.

Conformity assessment, CE marking and technical documentation for multi-megawatt industrial battery storage systems

easyCE accompanies the development process and carries out the entire conformity assessment for CE marking, including risk assessment for industrial battery storage systems of several megawatts for capacity control of grid utilization. easyCE also creates the operating instructions and other technical documentation for the battery storage system.

A particular challenge with the CE marking of battery storage systems is the lack of suitable harmonized standards. Therefore, various regulations were combined to comprehensively consider the system. To do this, the experts at easyCE were able to identify particularly applicable rules from the harmonized standards for photovoltaic systems. For example, standards such as EN 60204-1 and EN 62109 were used from the Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU). The experts at easyCE support you in the development of your system regardless of size and capacity. This means that small systems for private use as well as large systems used with the low-voltage network can be considered.

CE marking for a small hydropower plant.

CE marking for a small hydropower plant

easyCE carried out the entire conformity assessment procedure for a small hydropower plant consisting of a turbine, generator, hydraulic unit, control valves and control cabinet in a cavern. Through a targeted interface analysis, the small hydropower plant was clearly distinguished from additional safety requirements that could have applied due to the special location. This enabled the required compliance documentation to be drawn up quickly and successfully.

Taken into account, among others: 2006/42/EC, 2014/30/EU, 2014/35/EU, EN ISO 14120, EN ISO 4413

Conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for solar parasol micro-inverter systems

Conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for solar parasol micro-inverter systems

easyCE successfully supports CE marking up to the ready-to-sign Declaration of Conformity for innovative solar energy systems with integrated micro-inverters. Compliance with EMC requirements according to EN 61000-6-3 for residential emissions presented a particular challenge in this grid-connected system with WiFi functionality. Through careful testing of electrical safety according to EN 62109-1 and electromagnetic compatibility according to EN 61000-6-1, a high level of safety was ensured while maintaining optimal system performance.

Conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for stationary battery energy storage systems

Conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for stationary battery energy storage systems

easyCE successfully supports CE marking up to the ready-to-sign Declaration of Conformity for battery storage systems providing primary and secondary control power. The particular challenge was ensuring electromagnetic compatibility according to EN 61000-6-2 and compliance with electrical safety requirements per EN 62485-2. Through the integration of a highly effective fire detection system with dual detector dependency and automatic aerosol extinguishing, a comprehensive safety concept was implemented.

Conformity assessment procedure and CE marking for small hydropower plants

easyCE successfully supports CE marking up to the ready-to-sign Declaration of Conformity for power plant systems that use hydropower for electricity generation. The complex integration of turbines, generators and hydraulic control systems requires a comprehensive risk assessment according to EN ISO 12100, with particular consideration of the safe human-machine interface. The automated operation control was secured according to EN 60204-1 to ensure the highest safety standards during maintenance work.
